A Better Pathway – Safe Transport’s Gift to the Community

This summer, Safe Transport LLC proudly planted a new seed of unity within our local schools. In partnership with the feeder pattern that stretches from our elementary campuses all the way to the high school, Safe Transport made a heartfelt donation of tee-shirts to every teacher and staff member – a simple yet powerful symbol of what it means to grow together.

As educators prepared classrooms, sorted supplies, and imagined the year ahead, these shirts arrived as encouragement a reminder that no one stands alone in their work. The shirts displayed a shared message of growth, connection, and future-ready scholars, representing each stage of the student journey: from tiny first-time learners to young adults preparing to step into the world.

The donation was more than apparel. It was a declaration of Safe Transport’s belief that communities transform when we link arms schools, families, businesses, and students all working as one. As Safe Transport continues to expand its commitment to youth access, college readiness, and transportation equity, this gesture is only the beginning. Plans are already underway to sustain this partnership through mentorship, celebratory events, and continued investments that make the pathway from elementary to high school stronger, brighter, and more connected.

Because when we build together when we believe in each other our students rise. And when our students rise, the entire community rises with them.

Nourishing Families, Rooted in Community – Safe Transport & St. Phillips AME Church

Safe Transport LLC continues to deepen its commitment to serving the Triad by supporting access to food and resources for families in need. This year, Safe Transport partnered with St. Phillips AME Church under the leadership of Dr. Rev. Lisa Caldwell to expand the reach of the church’s Community Outreach Garden — a grassroots effort designed to feed families, strengthen neighborhoods, and restore dignity through fresh food access.

Every week, volunteers, youth, and community members gather at the garden to grow produce, package food boxes, and deliver meals to families experiencing food insecurity. Safe Transport played a vital role in ensuring these efforts reached farther, helping transport fresh produce, supporting volunteer coordination, and removing barriers that often prevent families from receiving what they need most.

“This work is about more than food — it's about showing families that their community sees them, values them, and stands with them,” shared Dr. Rev. Lisa Caldwell.

This partnership is a testament to what happens when mission and movement meet — planting seeds of hope, harvesting possibility, and proving that change is possible when we move as one.

Community Impact Spotlight: Partnering With Greensboro Police & Regina Glasspie

This summer, Safe Transport LLC proudly supported youth engagement across Greensboro through a meaningful partnership with the Greensboro Police Department and community leader, Mrs. Regina Glasspie. Known for her dedicated work in low-income communities and housing developments, Mrs. Glasspie created opportunities for students to learn, explore, and connect — and Safe Transport ensured they could get there.

By providing transportation, we helped scholars access enrichment programs, hands-on learning experiences, and activities designed to build confidence, relationships, and a deeper understanding of what it means to create positive impact as young leaders.

At Safe Transport, we believe access drives opportunity. When we remove transportation barriers, young people are able to see the world beyond their neighborhood — and begin imagining their place within it.
